Enchanted

Genre: Animation, Fairy tale, Romantic Comedy
Rating: 8/10

Be warned: The following review contains spoilers.

Oh my god it's such a funny movie! It started out as a cartoon (ooh haven't watched a Disney cartoon since they collaborated with Pixar), then it went to real life and some parts cartoon. The drawings of the animated characters resemble the real life actors.

They mocked fairy tales at the beginning of the movie, or at least it felt like mockery to me. A girl, named Giselle (Amy Adams) in Andalasia (the place in the fairy tale) was about to be married to Prince Edward (James Marsden) before she was cursed off to the real world by the evil queen (Susan Sarandon). In the real world, Giselle met Robert (Patrick Dempsey), a kind lawyer who forced-offered his home as a shelter. Then Prince Edward and the subsequent few important characters went to the real world to ___save / kill (fill blank with verb corresponding to the characters)___ Gissele.

Everything about the movie is hilarious, especially when Gissele breaks out into a song mid-sentence, the way she talks to people. Prince Edward's love for himself also leaves audiences pealing with laughter. Aiyooo...!

There were lots of spoof from other fairy tales, for example:

a) Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Calling out to the animals, poison apple)
b) Cinderella (Own dress-making, Giselle's wedding gown was decorated by animals)
c) Sleeping Beauty (Giselle poisoned into a deep sleep, the dragon)

Really, there are no good movies to watch these days. Enchanted is surprisingly good so watch it!
