Bukit Tinggi Weekend

The entertainement there - we watched documentaries on the TV. Wow Vision 4 has lots of animal documentaries man. And watched Dark Knight there. Only spent a night there because really boring wan! Unless you play paintball there I guess. Food also expensive there...and it is quite pointless to drive all the way downhill just to eat a more economical chinese dinner. The petrol down and up also expensive already ma.

First Stop, McDs Lunch
This stop is at the Petronas petrol station with Shell station behind it. The famous stop with McDs and BK and Dunkin' Doughnuts. We reached there ngam ngam few minutes before 12 pm. So we actually waited for a few minutes to get the McValue Lunch.

Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills, Bukit Tinggi

After the toll, there's a fork between Genting Highlands and Kuantan. Take the Kuantan road. You'll go through a tunnel. After the tunnel, make sure you look out for the 'Berjaya Hills' signboard. Don't worry lah won't get lost one. The exit to Bukit Tinggi abit sudden only, just keep a look out for it the moment they say '5 km more'.

Japanese Garden and Botanical Garden

Lots of flowers and trees and nature and water and koi fishies. And mosquitoes. To get there, you can drive further up the hill or take a feeder transport from Colmar. Very steep la the road there plus limited parking space.

We walk the whole garden and even took the back road. Tercungap-cungap.

Entrance to the Japanese restaurant. Very very very expensive. One look at the menu we cabut keluar.

Rabbit's Park

The ticketor gave us free entrance since they're about to close in half an hour. So nice!!!! Lots of ribbitty rabbits and rabbits' nursery (for young rabbits).

Dining in Colmar Tropicale

We makan dinner at the chicken restaurant. I don't mean they're chicken. Their main meal is chicken and the French names of all the restaurants are impossible to remember - so the photos I'm showing are your guide ok?

Total spent for the dinner set = RM 50. Approximately.

Next morning, we came out for breakfast in the bread shop, again, name is impossible to remember but it is directly opposite the chicken restaurant. Expensive bread but taste boleh tahan la. We had sandwiches and Mr. Shu's smoked beef quite nice man. Total spent = RM 35.

They're setting up tents for flea market. Their flea market opens on Saturday and Sunday.

Finally, after checking out, we had lunch at the Italian place opposite the hotel's check in place. Ate carbonara linguini. Their pasta is big enough to share. Total cost = RM 30.

Dr. is right, Bukit Tinggi really boring!! But it's near ma...just a short weekend away from online-everyday-KL. When I was there couldn't escape calls from True Fitness pun. They got ESP that I'm fat isit. Why they know when is the right time to call me ah!?
